  我们知道中空玻璃双组份胶的主胶A组份本身是不固化的,只有配合一定量的硫化剂以后才会逐步固化,为适当加快胶的固化速度,我门在胶的固化剂中加入一定量的硫化促进剂来加快硫化剂跟主胶的反应速度,当我们人为地为了加速胶的固化而加大固化剂用量比例时,胶虽然提高了硫化的速度但胶的本身质量却降低了,我们用刀片破开经加速硫化而固化的胶发现,这时的胶要比正常的胶松软的多,像发泡的海绵。故我们的工人在调配双组份胶时为了尽可能的保证胶的质量,一定要按标准的比例并充分混均以防止胶局部促进剂含量偏高从而影响中空玻璃的整体质量。

  中空玻璃双组份胶所用的原料,都具有很强的粘结力,但不管粘结力多强的材料其特性都需要特定的符合性能要求的条件下才能实现,我们所用的双组份胶它的粘结力的产生(跟玻璃及铝条)是在其加入规定量固化剂后立即涂在所需涂布的部位让其在所涂布的部位完成从开始硫化———完全硫化的一个过程,如果我们将胶在半硫化状态下在涂所需部位,则粘结强度就大有影响。

  笔者做过这样一个实验,准备200片玻璃小样清洗烘干,将合格的双组份胶按标准比例一次混均,在同样的环境条件下每10秒将胶分别涂在试样用玻璃片上,当涂116片试样时,胶已失去了粘结能力,放置后分别检验胶跟玻璃的粘结力,发现其粘结力随着硫化程度的加强而减弱,直彻底失去粘结力。回想起以前有一个朋友生产的中空玻璃因尺寸搞错,有100多片中空玻璃多做而报废放在露天,半年后发现有部分已经开裂脱胶,有的却完好如初,朋友百思不得其解,同样的材料,同样的工人,同样的生产工艺,同样的存放环境,为何会有不一样的密封效果。真正的原因就是胶配的太多,在不同硫化程度下涂玻璃上的,已经开裂的中空玻璃则是胶在半固化状态下涂上去的。

The friend was puzzled as to why the same materials, workers, production process, and storage environment could produce different sealing effects. The real reason is that there is too much glue, which is applied to the glass at different degrees of vulcanization. The cracked insulating glass is coated with glue in a semi cured state.
