中空玻璃降低玻璃系统的传热系数U值,是一种非常经济的节能手段,已经被大量应用在建筑上。中空玻璃的原理很简单,主要是在两层玻璃之间插入一层隔热性能好的空气层,起到瓶颈作用,降低整体传热系数。随着玻璃技术的不断进步,如低辐射玻璃技术,对“瓶颈”材料的要求也越来越高,而惰性气体具有比干燥空气更低的导热性能,更稳定的化学结构,因此被广泛用于高档中空玻璃中空层材料。充惰性气体除带来看不到的“节能性”之外,还会带来一些实际的作用,如降低玻璃玻璃两侧面温差,减少玻璃表面结露几率。氩气就是一种惰性气体,对人体无直接危害。 氩气氩气是目前工业上应用很广的稀有气体。它的性质十分不活泼,既不能燃烧,也不助燃。往往用氩作为保护气,防止被空气氧化或氮化。

据国外文献记载合格中空玻璃内部充入的氩气每年渗漏不超过1%。这样如果充入中空玻璃的氩气的初始浓度为85%以上,15年后中空玻璃内部的氩气浓度仍然在60%以上,该中空玻璃依然具有比较优良的性能。

但是,很多充入的中空玻璃出厂测量中空玻璃充入氩气的浓度已经达到了85%以上,但过了一段时间再测量发现氩气含量下降或没有氩气了。造成这种状况通常有以下几种原因:

1、中空玻璃密封胶质量问题。中空玻璃是由丁基胶、结构胶双道密封、玻璃、间隔条组成的密闭密封空间。丁基胶、结构胶起双道密封的作用,如果丁基胶、结构胶中的某二种或其中的某一种质量不好,达不到密封标准中空玻璃的密封性能就会下降,因而导致中空玻璃内部氩气渗漏率加大。
1. Insulating glass sealant quality problems. Insulating glass is a sealed space composed of butyl rubber, structural rubber double seal, glass and spacer strip. Butyl rubber and structural rubber play the role of double sealing. If either or both of them are of poor quality, the sealing performance of insulating glass will decline if it fails to meet the sealing standard, resulting in the increase of argon leakage rate inside the insulating glass.


2、涂胶工艺有问题。涂在间隔条上的丁基胶要保证均匀,没有宽窄不均和断条处。特别注意要保证涂布的丁基胶要有足够的宽度和足够的厚度(厚道往往容易被忽略)。结构胶是中空玻璃的二道密封,也要打胶厚薄均匀,并且要保持足够厚度。

3、间隔条框上出现了不密封点。用插角制作的间隔框四个角部用丁基胶封堵。整体折弯框的直插件连接处、充气孔等可能出现不密封的地方也要用丁基胶封堵。

4、在中空玻璃制作过程中或刚刚做好的中空玻璃搬运(特别是大块中空玻璃)也是容易出现漏气的因素。

5、LOW-E等镀膜玻璃除膜除的不好,导致胶接面出现气体渗漏。
